Thats the 2nd Monster from London area in about a fortnight. I was under the illusion that Ducatis weren't that desirable to thieving scum as they're harder to sell as breakers but this latest spate of thefts is putting my theory out the window. Hope it's recorvered intact and works out ok for the owner.
Disgusting - although to be honest nothing surprises me now. Sometimes I wonder how f**ked up this world is
That's really good news. Hope we don't have to see too many of these types of threads due to some dickheads stealing others property.
Dumped in South London ... minor damage I hear.. well no damage is funny.. Apparently police APNR saw the plate and it came up as nicked..... lucky really its unusual for a van'ed bike to be dumped .....with out sounding unkind they are usually stripped down or shipped out of country.. You find its 125 that get nicked and dumped ... I have had 2 go that route
Probably wasn't dumped as such, more likely removed from the van and parked up, waiting for the next link in the stolen bike network chain to come and pick it up. If it was found on someones property, they are handling.....if it's parked remotely from them, waiting for the next step, the thieves are not loosing out if its recovered or stolen again and they are less likely to be caught red handed. Bastards! (sorry if anyone is offended, but I think the term is justified).
Not exactly, I found one of my bikes in someone's garage parked behind their car but because the door was open the police said they couldn't prove it wasn't dumped there by someone else.
FFS!!! I bet that's terrible for them when people keep sneaking into their garage to dump stolen motorbikes behind their car!
