  1. Hi all,
removed cans from my 1098 streetfighter with no problems, now i have put them back i have notice that there is smoke coming out of the top can and where it fits on to the top of the exhaust. Anything i can do to get a better seal and stop the smoke, also will this fail M.O.T

  2. Did you leave your ciggies in there?

  3. Not tried it myself but I am told a bead of silicon around the joint works.

  4. mine did that - took it for a blast and it stopped

  5. You'll have burnt all the ciggies :upyeah:

  6. cracked piston

  7. Do not use silicon sealant on exhaust joins if you have lamda/closed loop fuel systems, the sealant burns and coats the sensors in silicon rendering them useless.

  8. All sorted , after a few runs , carbon up now has a seal again
