Recently picked up a long mag swingarm for the 916 type bike. Unfortunately it didn't come with the rocker. They appear to be pretty unobtainium. Anybody know where I can get one that isn't a zillion dollars. The same goes for the chain runners (found some in the US but at $200 they can FO). Alternatively has anybody got the measurements so I can machine one? If not I guess I'll get the old slide rule out and do some maths............
Thanks for that, cheaper than the US supplier I found but still a bit steep, I'll consider it if no one comes up with dimensions.
and whilst youre being a tight wad at the very minimum i would get the arm crack tested and re chromated along with getting the correct shock...........
The longer swingarm works far better if you change the yokes also to Ducati Performance ones or similar like Nichols that change the offset of the front forks.
Yeh, thanks matt, I'm aware of that and it's on the list of things to do. At this point I'm just looking for the dimensions of the rocker as I begrudge paying £300 for something I can make myself for less than £50.
You could try the chaps at Bursi evolution http://www.bursievolution.com/offices they are very technical and ive found them to be helpful in the past........
