New Multistrada

  1. Well I have done it after a few weeks of deliberation. I have had 4 BMW R1200 GS's and it was time for a change. Picked up a new S Touring in Red last Friday. Still not many miles but I am very happy with my choice.
Fitted a R&G radiator guard yesyterday, the only other slight niggle is the screen. What should I buy to reduce noise and turbulance? P1000321.jpg

  2. Have a look in the Multistrada section. Lots on screens in there.

  3. Thanks duke63, how do I do that. I have tried several searches in different ways but cannot get anywhere. Still new to this forum.

  4. Aztec spacers are a good starting point, then its a case of finding a screen that suits you. I think nearly all Mutli owners have had issue with noise and turbulence and it will depend on your seated height as to what is best for you. I'm 6' 4'' and with the Aztec spacers and touring screen schuberth lid can ride at 80 ish with the visor open, still have issues with turbulence but this is being looked at by cp with the object of fitting small deflectors the last I heard this is still under developement.

  5. Hi welcome to the forum and great choice of bike. I have ran a MTS 1200 S touring for 15 months now and still love the bike with 8500 miles now on it. The issues with the screen are well documented; loads of ways to go, taller, shorter, wider...... I still run the standard screen but in the lower position even though I am 6' 4". You can use the spacers to tilt the screen and lift it forward or fit a clip on deflector to the top of the screen. Others have cut the screen even shorter like Pikes Peak.

  6. The screen problem is an issue with the type of bike. The new Triumph Explorer is the same.

  7. Congrats on the bike Richard
