Can anyone tell me how long my no claims will last without being insured? My insurance expired last week and I am thinking of leaving it until spring now as I won't use the bike and its in a safe place. Is there a definitive time lapse? I tried googling it but nothing concrete. TA!
Mine will be SORNed over winter but insurance still runs all year. But mine is due in March so falls just right. Cost me £150 fully comp for the T9 I'm going to try to go sub £100 next time lol
Cas I ain't got one now....... and furthermore my previous insurer was MCE who are a clueless set of inbred (see other post) fraudulent morons. I would rather ask my dog. Within 6 separate calls to them I was quoted between £380 and £960 for the exact same details, all within a 48 hour period. I think you may be correct Antonye with 2 years but would like confirmation. Rant aimed at MCE and not you ANT
I think I was quoted "2 years" a while ago on a car policy. If you haven't got insurance now then I guess it will be hard to check unless you're about to quote/buy a policy! Might be worth picking someone at random (eg Bennetts) and asking them when you start a "quote". Have you got a Proof of NCB letter from your previous insurers, or a renewal quote showing your NCB? Might be better to get that sooner rather than later if not.
