ok, after taking the bike apart to try and fix the slave cylinder and master cylinder, i have discovered all the problems are with the slipper clutch. the spider spring is broke, one if the retainer caps has wore through and the bolt that held that cap on is snapped off in the post, the bearing is siezed and the push rod siezed in that and with the pressure of the slave cylinder piston on the rod was spinning piston in the slave cylinder. so, i am after the parts or a slipper clutch to replace my bust one. any help or advice greatly appriciated john
So spider spring say £35 from JHP, you'll need a new clutch hub if the post has gone but that'll be slipper clutch dependent plus pushrod bearing etc. Most slipper clutches are the same but make sure you can get the parts, if you have access to a local dealer why not take the parts down and see what they have or can source
