  1. Had my 1997 ST2 for just over a year and love it. Lately after about an hours ride the clutch is almost non existant - ie very little plate seperation , and difficult to stop start etc. Any ideas would be welcome please.

  2. Needs bleeding/fresh fluid?

  3. thx m8. bled old fluid and it like piss !!!!! errrrrgh. but master cylinder knackered too. just collected new one and will fit on weekend. will let you know

  4. Same old problem, despite new cylinder. After about 1 hour ride clutch virtually non existant. Ok again after an hour or so ??????? HELP plz

  5. Make sure new cylinder has correct pushrod - assume you didnt change it?
    Bleed really thoroughly
Did you fill the new cylinder before attaching so there is no air trapped in there?
Does sound like can only be a fluid / bleeding problem tbh

  6. All brand new - lever cylinder pushrod etc etc. Bled to perfection !!! Only happens after about an hours ride !!!!!!

  7. Clutch plate bearing in the pressure plate check it for stiff/notchyness if any replace.

    brian.

  8. Thanks B, I was beginning to think "clutch internals" because it seems to be so predictable - ok for an hour then ..........
