I have been slightly concerned about sluggish starting on my bike. I read thro some threads last night on the topic. Today I disconnected all the battery and starting leads. Cleaned them up and refitted them with the nuts much tighter than they were. BOY what a difference I only need to touch the button and away it goes. 1 hour job well worth doing.

Yes Ken, its sounds silly but ensuring that the battery terminals are clean and tight makes a vast difference as ive had the exact same experience. I intend to beef up the wiring when she goes off to Nelly's next year..
