  3. 70mm is my next target. Ive only got the slash cut termi's on the 1198. Still loud mind. Especially since i junked that exhaust valve. 916 has full 54mm. I like starting them both up in my garage. Bass!

Ive got forgiving neighbours, plus one is a biker too. Result.

  4. My neighbors are mostly ok, when I did the loom / ecu conversion I had to keep running the bike up to temp to check a fault that only exhibited itself when fully warm. He did pop over then! My own fault really, I just stuck the dbs in and all was harmonious again.

If you're after a full system, don't dismiss the full 848 system for your 10' it's only a few mm smaller and goes on and works a treat.
    Usually a lot cheap.
    It's what I'm running... :upyeah:

PS. Post up a pic of the exhaust with the flapper gone.
Did you ditch the tea tray as well?

  5. Hmmmmmmmmm - Titaniyummy.... Ducati 848 / 1098 SBK Full Exhaust system by Leo Vince | eBay

  6. Storm said a 996/1198 conversion system would be:

The system made in 54mm would be £950 in titanium and £650 in stainless steel.

  7. Wow! Gone down a lot since last year! :upyeah:

  8. Wonder if it'd be cheaper to get them to make me a set of 70mm S/S for my termis than buy the things from termi. Coz thats not a bad price shown above.

  9. Remember you're a Womble... No, that's not it, remember the quoted "70mm" is only a small part of the zorst, most of it is ~ 50mm + a bit.

  10. Is it indeed? Thanks.

    My clutch nut arrived. :)

  11. Don't forget to check the number of teeth while you're in there

  12. 48 shall be the number of the count; and the number of the count shall be 48...

Had to pay customs £12 sobs for it. Fleecing bastards.

  13. bootsam, I am looking for a 70mm header for my 1198s as well, what do you think is a good price? I've tracked one down but they only want to sell with the ecu and its about £750.00

  14. The map for the headers is different to the slip on map so might be worth getting

  15. Hi Matt, was going to get either my original ecu or the slip on ecu re mapped by CJS when I get the new header if I dyno it or a re flash of one by chrisw possibly.

Cranker V2 sorry for taking this off topic, will start new thread.

    Sorry Maccaa

  16. Personally I'd keep the other 2 and get the 3rd custom mapped by cjs

  17. £750 seems fair enough. Agree about CJS too, although ChrisW can flash the ecu to remove the lamba sensors and exhaust valve shite that might give you an error on the dash in the meantime before CJS tart it up.

  18. You are missing a 1 at the start of the price.

  19. really……..1950 and 1650…..
