Shuberth are acclaimed to be the quietest helmets about, haven't personally tried them, however I always wear ear plugs
yup SR1 here - still recommend ear plugs but get none of the 'helmet lifting' issues it sits well on yer head
Thats what the problem is the lid lifting of the head trying to find something thats not to loud and stays on. will have a look at the SR! nice one!! someone suggested a Shoei GT AIR??
Never had any issues with my X-Lite X-802. Cracking lid, wipes the floor in every way with an Arai. Currently wearing an AGV Corsa. Great lid to and no buffeting issues
I have a HJC hq1, full carbon, its a few years old an I love it, when I had a naked bike it was great, the helmet isn't round like a conventional helmet, and is made round with angled surfaces, its also very lite, downside its a bit more noisy than my RPHA Ben Spies rep
Traditional "streetfighter" lid = classic Simpson Bandit... More modern = Roof Boxer... But I suspect your question was actually a serious one. so I'll leave it to people who have more sensible answers...
Me too, a lot of people complain about the noise of an Arai though. I always wear ear plugs anyway. They are very comfortable and a nice fit.
Char what is the fit like on your lid SR1 (is it big or small fitting) no dealers near me so will have to buy of the net worried about the fit !! I use a Arai RX7 and its a medium fit Cheers Alan
they are tighter than most other helmets to get on your bonce - mainly as there is more of the lower neck padding, but this does give a bit over time I would say they are slightly smaller fitting than my ARAI but they are a much more comfortable fit -
Does a streetfighter need a lid? Is it a legal requirement? Is it hurting its little earsies-wearsies, awww - bless
