Brake rotors

  1. Was getting some new tyres fitted today and put the verniers on me brake discs. They will need replacing very soon.

What's the best price/performance mix out there for the 4s?

Not interested in fashion, but no objection to wavey/petal discs. Had EBC Prolites on a bike a few years ago and was not impressed. Seemed to take a long time to clear water in the wet before pads bit.

    All experiences welcome.

  2. Not sure of the differences, but I have a set of spare hypermotard discs (bought in error) which you can have off me cheap (₤100) if they fit? They are practically new and are a 320mm, 5mm offset disc. I thought they were a 15mm offset, so they didn't fit my 848, but I still have them.

Drop me a PM if any use to you.

  3. I think Tony "nothingbettertodo" had a set of rotors from a 4s hanging in his garage that he might still have. Worth asking him the question.

  4. Thanks the responses.

@ChamMTB: thanks for offer mate, that would be a cracking deal but from what I can see, the standard Hyper discs are 310mm, with a 5mm offset. The ST discs are 320mm with a 10mm offset, so not a fit I'm afraid.

@Desmoboy: Thanks for the tip. I'll drop Tony a PM.

  5. Very nice! Though a tad pricey, I'd imagine. :)

  6. I would email them asking for a quotation, if you ''know what I mean''.

  7. Ignore my post. Wrong answer
