Due to the extreme stubborness and intransigence of the spacer underneath the clutch basket of my 1198 and despite my best efforts to remove said offending article; one needs to dremel a couple of slots either side in order that my puller can gain purchase on it. I do own a dremel but generally use it for cutting bolts etc now and again. I note from Amazon et al that there is an abundance of Dremel accessory packs. Does anyone have experience with non-dremel accessory packs? What do people recommend as the best grinding tool to affix to my dremel to defeat that damn freeloading spacer?
don't be a tight wad, get your self down the local hardare shop and look the little cutting disks. probably do he job.
I have lots and lots of cutting discs. Its grinding wheels I need to grind some slots. I wondered if the accessory packs offered by alternative manufacturers were ok. AS they are significantly cheaper than Dremel branded. Alternatively if anyone can provide miniature shaped charges and their expertise that might suffice.
two slots opposite each other with a cutting disk and two cheep screwdrivers bent at ends to make a heel. but again i aint seen accessibility.
I have a hub puller. I just need slots. I think Ive sourced the correct devices. http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B004NIH06W/?tag=ducatiforum-21
Theres a fair price difference between dremel and non dremel accessories. If this doesnt work and that spacer doesnt budge, then this 1198 is history.
