the 'Anyone going to Boxhill today?' thread

  1. Cool 11 it is :upyeah:

  2. Let's hope they got the forecast wrong Peter. Lucasz, if you come in on the A24 you can go straight on at roundabout just outside Leatherhead (down A246) instead of turning left to go towards Boxhill and Dorking. Follow A246 for around 9 miles straight on over everything and after you have travelled a mile or so on a fairly straight bit of dual carriageway there are some traffic lights where you turn left along the A25. You will recognise where you are when you get to top of hill - turn right into Newlands Corner Car Park. You can go via Dorking/Westcott/Wotton/Abinger/Shere if you like but this is almost identical distance from Leatherhead Roundabout.

  15. Haha Chris but in reality all I need is a postcode and technology does the rest easy.

  16. Brilliant! Yep top shelf in the garage!!

  17. well it's not all bad folks as just up the road from Newlands it is patchy cloud but lots of blue at the moment with a ground temp of 3 degrees. Bound to be ice around from the frost in the night though. Anyone coming more than 10 miles today is brave.

  18. Mine is also in garage ..... just behind bear cans so I never seem to get to it.

    Erm 30-ish

  19. Lots of frost Horsham way Chris but I will try & make it :)

Just an afterthought really but for future Sunday meet ups, the closest tea/coffee outlet is, of course, at the Dorking Car Boot sale held at the Train Station car park.
There again, us lot wandering from stall to stall & taking the piss could cause a riot...lol
