Ok, So hopefully this weekend I'm test riding the sf1098/848 and a hypermotard After doing a fair bit of review reading my heart is warming to the idea of the evo sp and I know it's bonkers but I own a 2010 blade which will do the 'other bits' whilst for back road outright fun and maybe even a tour (80miles a tank is fine for me) I reckon the evo might just be the ticket. However if I buy one after the test ride I'll need an exhaust as stock cans are crap frankly So the termi set up is expensive and would love to know who's cheapest when buying the full system OR do I go for the SC project and have it remapped by CJS most likely for less money Any experiences would be good to hear, I simply want a nice looking louder pipe and smoother fuelling at the end of it so which will be best
I like the cans I saw which were 2:1 race ones, think Everton had them fitted to his, IMHO looked better than the std ones
In amongst all the Ducati.ms photos / threads are details and photos of a guy shortening the single tail pipe of the termi full system It's the best looking bike I've seen....
Hi, i have just bought a new m1100 evo, not arrived yet. If i want to retro fit he termis any idea who sells them other han dealer?
They same price from everywhere near enough so you might as well call the dealer and buy from them. Plus your warranty will be unaffected.
Me too. It's On my to do list. Been thinking hard about tail tidy's also as single sided exhausts arent easy and have started hacking the original hangars metal frame about.
Ducati.ms is full of them. The hyper Forum is top heavy with modders.. Some really trick looking bikes On there.
Work in progress. Pretty much Bog standard at the moment (race cams, dp 2:1, seat, high screen, open cover and plate, r&g rad guard, carbonworld hugger)
ugh - there's a little 1100 for sale locally. I have the green light to buy an alternative bike for commuting. I REALLY want a hyper but I know I'll just bling the pants of the thing to the point where I don't want to ride it in the winter... Noo, must resist....
The more I look at them the more they make sense to me to be honest. I have a sports bike for track and should the need arise a road blast....BUT, more and more do I feel that simply down to crap roads and speed limits the sports bike is only really really fun on the track and frankly with the blade 100mph + comes so deceptively quickly its extremely dangerous a hyper may be bonkers but I'd say no doubt more fun within a reasonable speed limit and that's surely the point isn't it? Pointless but fun..... I'm no commuter so fun is what it's all about for me Plus at 6ft 3" a pretty decent fit I'd presume (haven't had a go yet so jury still out)
100 comes up pretty quick on a hyper too, as does the front end .. It's how far u go after that on the roads! I only miss my 748 & 848 on the track now. The 85 mile range is a pain in the ass. £600 would solve that though. All round it's a great bike for the road.
Looking good pal!! I see you're not too far from me (I'm in Nelson) If you every fancy a blat up the cafe sometime (Llandovery) give us a shout!!
Tidy there's a South Wales group page on this site... At least a dozen of us. We Have the old ride to llan or even Aberystwyth when we can organise it.
