HiI have a brand new full set of race fairings for an 848/1098/1198, inc the seat fairing. From Moore Speed Racing. In white. Dzus fasteners already attached. Plus a windscreen and screws, R&G crash bungs and R&G front fork Slider. All brand new. Bought to put on my 848, which I then sold as soon as I test rode the 899 panigale.Cost £700 in total: Full Race Fairings inc Seat Fairing & Windscreen £500 R&G Crash Bungs £170 R&G fork protectors £30.Looking at £500 for the lot. Will take pics at the weekend if any interest (I work away so not got them available to take pics of).
Hi Harry. I appreciate you'd ideally sell the whole lot together but if you're splitting anything up I could be interested in the fork protectors. Drop me a PM if that's an option. All the best Alistair
The fairings are white 'for painting' according to the website: Ducati 848 / 1098 - Full Race Fairing
Ideally would like it all to go as a job lot but I'd let the bungs and protectors go separately if not. Give me a week then the fork protectors are yours for £20 and I'll pay postage.
Yes of course. I more than understand. Let me know how you get on. I have track fairings for mine too.... Whites not a bad option as you can make it you own http://ducatiforum.co.uk/f16/wrapping-track-fairings-13651/
Wow! That looks mint! With the track fairings you have you can use them for road aswell. As these are race fairings there are no cut outs for the lights or mirrors... but on a pure track bike they would look amazing with the vinyl as you have done. If I'd had the cash I'd have kept my 848 and converted it to track... now I gotta be careful with the 899 but can't wait to get it on track. Hopefully Cadwell Easter Monday
Thanks for your kind words. I think i'd have preferred to have a pure track nose without the lights but as its a road bike predominantly it makes sense to have the lights it on all the time. Hopefully someone will feel inspired and buy yours!
Good luck with the sale. I had a full set with mudguard and carbon race under-tray and tank for £450 and the want-it-all-for-nothing cheapskates on here wanted it for less ;-) before you wade into ebay and all the wasters on there, you could try motoforum
Damn. Why do the good things pop up when you have no money. Guess I will have to stick with my lightly scratched oem for track days a while longer. Good luck. Your price is fair.
Harry, is any of this still going, or has it all gone? Also, does the nose cone need the extended air vent tubes, or will the standard ones fit? I'm GMT + 6 at the moment, so I'll check your response tomorrow, or pm me... I already have crash bungs and fork sliders, so won't need those... Whilst I also have a nose cone and screen I'll be keen to get the whole fairing and keep what I have as a spare... Thanks, Bob
Hi Bob Still available. I don't know about the air tubes as I never fitted them. I'd be surprised if they had made them so the stock tubes didn't fit. I think I read people have replaced the stock tubes with bigger tubes to increase flow though. Toying with keeping them now and waiting for a crashed 1098 to track. Getting worried I'll drop the 899!
Fairings.screen etc all sold. Fork Sliders possibly also gone. R&G Crash Bungs available... £175 new, never been fitted, still in box as new. Available for £120 +postage.
