Im looking to mount my mobile phone to my 1198s so I can use it as a sat nav,any ideas how I can do this.many thanks in advance

great call from you there mate. ive got an old 3GS iphone that doesn't get used but is perfect for running as a sat nav. just found this lovely set up, quick release and just clamps to the bars. Perfect for me. Tough Waterproof Mount Case Apple IPhone 3Gs
Definitely Ultimate Addons. The system is easy and I just use the showerproof case, no need for the full armoured version as you need to lose any iPhone case with this. The waterproof case allows use of the screen for satnav, has survived torrential downpours and works a treat.
Ultimate add ons here too. Top tip. The handlebar clamp. Clamp it round your steering damper. Cheaper than getting a new stem nut with a ball on the end.
Good thinking batman,i need a waterproof case that will take a sony erricsson arc phone and then like you say ,clamp it to the steering damper.
