848 dash screen mist

  1. Hi guys , was out yesterday and the dash misted over about half way,it's since dried out. I've seen online that this seems to be fairly common, is there anything I can do to prevent this happening? I only bought the bike just over a month ago . 08 model

  3. Mine does it as well, really annoying!! I don't wanna drill holes in my dash which is one of the 'fixes'

  4. They all do that sir. The heat from the engine/rads runs up the front of the bike when at a standstill and hits the 'cold' screen. Nothing you can do about it....well except don't stop :tongue:

  6. There been a few posts that suggest drilling a wee hole in the back/bottom of the screen unit.
    Apparently later units had this already drilled/molded.

    Don't sue me if you feck your bike up!

    I've drilled my unit, just not had the chance to check the results yet.

  7. +1. Headlights still mist up as well, but to a lesser extent than the 748 I had :smile:

  8. I have a 2013? How late are we talking cos mine does it too!
