  1. Bought a wolf textile 2piece and initially loved it

found unexplainable "fluffing" of the material on one arm and one side ( near ribs) worn only 6 times in the recent half decent weather on a naked bike.

Returned to the dealer explaining that while a few months old, hardly worn and the " fluffing" is not in line with the age nor the overall condition of jacket(it's like new) also a press stud fastener on the front popped off.

wolf inspected and repaired the stud fastner but claim no manufacturing fault on the material....sportsbikeshop agreed.

jacket arrived yesterday, due to man flu i only opened it today to find the stud fastener is wont fasten as it seems to be a completely different bloody fastener to the original...

so wolf allegedly inspected and repaired but seems they don't inspect post repair, sportsbikeshop obviously couldn't be bothered ensuring the product was good to return to their customer and just sent it anyway.

so the jacket was gone nearly 2 weeks leaving me with no winter jacket, its back but of no bloody use purely because I will now take the stance that their service is simply not good enough. Yes I can wear it but why should I if they cant be arsed to fix it properly. So I will call them tomorrow, I did send an email but have not yet had a reply.

there is much to shout about regarding online dealers but frankly if I bought in a shop I may have had the fix done quicker.....

I wont be using sportsbikeshop again, unless they pull out the stops and I wont be buying or recommending wolf....much as I initially trumpets about them

will see what they say tomorrow

  2. Just ordered some boots off them so I hope they are OK

  3. Sure they will be fine dave, just a bit peeved that they sent me the jacket back without checking it...bad drills really

  4. Have bought numerous bits and pieces from them gloves and lids, have also had to return some stuff, sizing issues rather than faulty goods and theor refund service was prompt and efficient, sorry to hear of your woes.

  5. Well they have told me to return the jacket and they will pass my remarks on to the manufacturer, they did say "sorry"

what they fail to care about is the fact that I will be minus the jacket of a two piece winter suit...given the weather I don't fancy my leathers much ....

why do companies simply not give a toss once they have your money...they don't really give a jott for the inconvenience it causes...

Truly fed up with the attitudes and services of pretty much nearly every bloody person or company you spend your money with...I tend to go high end on most things becuase I expect the best service and best goods...simply not the case at all....

may e eh I wont bother with the jacket and just get it fixed cally myself....the hassle of arranging pick up, not being able to ride the bike and then waiting in to have it returned ALL because someone couldn't be arsed checking that a press stud actually fastned AFTER it had been repaired!!

anyone on here work for wolf or sportsbikeshop? If so I bet you don't give a hoot really do ya

    rant over

  6. Look at the price you pay for stuff these days. It's not much more than it was twenty years ago, yet the cost of living, of running a business, has increased dramatically. The pay-off is customer service. No-one keeps stocks of anything any more, it all has to be ordered in, everyone is understaffed, profit margins can be counted in pennies rather than pounds...

Just the way it is these days sadly.
