Evening all. Just getting more up close & personal now with my 749s & have noticed a slight coating of oil Mayo on the engine oil sight glass & a v small amont inside the oil filler cap !!! Now the bike has Previously stood & only done v short journeys so could it just be a condensation build up ? Which will hopefully disappear when the outside temps rise & after a few good runs ? I have drained the oil & this has no Mayo in it (just black & worn out looking ) Nor does the coolant contain any Mayo Cheers Dean
It's normal. A good long run and leaving the oil filler cap off for a while when you get back will sort it.
