Good morning all, I helped a mate fit a tail tidy on Saturday and there was an element of 'splicing' involved for the indicators etc. Since then the bikes alarm has been acting up. Its a factory fitted meta alarm, and when he arms it, it used to beep twice now it beeps four times.... I have check the wiring and that is all in good shape, is there any way to reset the alarm? Any help much appreciated! Ed.
Better still, rip the whole system out and lob it into your nearest canal.... Fuggin hate alarm systems!!
Got stuck in the middle of Spain with being unable to deactivate alarm. Nice man helped and it turned out the key fob was full of water from being in the rain. If in bad weather remove fob as it has no waterproof tendency at all. Regards Steve
