  1. The 1199 has been with us since late 2011, when it was unveiled in Milan.
Are we going to see a newer version next year 2015, 1199sp etc.
    Semi active suspension perhaps ?
An upgrade must be on the way, going by how the models have evolved in the past.
The replacement for the Panigale I would imagine, is already be on the drawing board.

  2. Do you there will be an 899 SP soon? Or will I have to build my own?
Seriously thinking of an 899 in the near future.

  3. I doubt very much if they will make a 899s or 899sp in the future, I would imagine a 899evo would be manufactured in 2 - 3 years time. A 899s would bring the cost too close to the 1199 base model, which would not make sense to me.

  4. it does to me......an 899 with all the nice bits whats not to like. imagine the cornering.

  5. If ducati pull their usual, the 1199sp will basically be a 1199sl for 30k.

  6. hold on to your braces for the 2015R...

  7. Must admit, getting tempted by the R. But don't want to change when I am pretty certain a new spec 1199 is not far away.

  8. I saw an advert for the 1199 (standard) and the price was £16500, if I'm not mistaken the tankard ones used to be £15k?? Are the prices creeping up? If so it may make way for the 899s. I love the 1199 though

  9. 1299 anyone?
