Received an email from Moto GB informing me LV have stopped production of the end can. I have a LV de cat fitted and want to smarten up the bike, I think the Termi fits straight on but what other end cans fit the LV de cat with out fabricating. Cheers Jase.
WTF? Got a brand new LV decat pipe sitting in its box waiting to be fitted when I can afford the end can. Sod it, it will have to be an SC Project now instead. Andy
Don't panic yet, this was just from Moto GB. I'm hoping another company will have one on the shelf, but LV have stopped making them, don't know why? Below is the email they sent. Hello, Unfortunately the end cans are no longer made/available from LeoVince who now only make the de-cat pipes for this model. Hey Guys, Here's an alternative straight through slip on reverse cone can, it may not be what you want though as the step down adapter ring has to be welded to the exhaust can inlet and have 4 cuts added to squeeze onto the Cat. For those using decat pipes, there's a baffled "quiet cone", both available from the manufacturer, Cone Engineering in the USA. (contact Rich) And the sound...at idle, much the same as the OE, but a deeper sound when riding, and I can hear it. The OE heat shied looks ok and will do the job for the moment.
Aren't the multistrada LV cans carbon? The reason I wonder that is because I'm under the impression that LV will still be producing stuff but dropping much of the carbon can range. Only reason I know that is when I spoke to motogb a while back about a LV set up for the Tuono V4 I wanted another full carbon version and was told they're not producing that one anymore but I can still have the same model in titanium. It's probably because the new plant they've moved production to can't/won't do the carbon stuff
