After seeing it up close and in natural light, they really are orange I'd seen in at the Utrecht Motorbeurs, but i then thought it was just the lighting that made the red more vibrant. But IRL they're almost neon orange. The owner took his out on dealer plates for a test ride (it's going to be his track weapon) and got stopped by the plod after only 10 mins riding. "What is it, and why are you on dealer plates?" :Woot:
It is, but what I like most about it is that to the casual observer it's stil just a bike. There's even one for sale. I've looked behind the sofa and in every nook and cranny in the car, but I'm still short a few Euros...
I was in DG today was greeted by the sight of two SLs side by side in the workshop, awesome looking machines and they had another inside that had matt carbon fairings. They are definately bright orange kinda like the colour of the marlboro yamahas of the old moto gp days.
