So, Max Clifford Guilty Then......

  1. I reckon he will do time.
Anything else will make a mockery of the charges and the victims and give the impression that if you are rich and well-connected, you are in some way above the law.

  2. Will tell you as much as you really need to know in 30 secs:

BBC News - Max Clifford guilty of eight indecent assaults

  3. No previous convictions, but guilty of 8 different counts. In other words, he didn't have any convictions because no one dared bring a case. Otherwise he might have been having a trial for one indecent assault after 7 previous convictions...

Does this mean that forcing people to have oral sex with you is sort of OK, but rape is a different kettle of fish (if you'll pardon the expression....)?

  4. So he told some impressionable, and desperate wannabees, he could make em a star in return for a blowjob.

Cut his bollox off and stuff em in his mouth, the dirty bastard

  5. Forced? Doesn't suggest forced in the article. Coerced possibly

  6. you'll have to explain that linguistic nuance to me.

  7. My mistake, wrong choice of word (but I am a dim-head grunt, unlike some of you educated lot) I used coerce in context was persuade without force, i.e. 'c'mon, you know it makes sense' wheres as dictionary definition is-----

    tr.v. co·erced, co·erc·ing, co·erc·es
    1.
To force to act or think in a certain way by use of pressure, threats, or intimidation; compel.
    2. To dominate, restrain, or control forcibly: coerced the strikers into compliance. See Synonyms at force.
    3. To bring about by force or threat: efforts to coerce agreement.

  8. He said, he was advised not to say anything, during a post trial interview.

I bet that was difficult for him.

  9. Quite ironic. There must have been any number of people who would have advised him not to say anything through most of his career.

  10. Maybe the jury felt that he is so effing snug it's time he was brought down a peg or two. No matter what sentence he is handed we can but hope his appearances on TV have stopped. Let's hope he retires to Majorca or somewhere else we don't have see or hear of him.

  11. Shoot him at dawn...... Or let Dawn shoot him, either way no great loss to society.

Spent years of his life covering up dirty secrets and helping people get away with stuff they really shouldn't have, I have no respect for anybody who's just a walking slimey bastard.

I'm sure some of the fellas in B Wing feel exactly the same, bet they're dying to meet him :)

  13. Couldnt have put it better myself
    Have a thanks

  14. And hopefully foreign countrys will kick his smug arse out as hes a paedo

  15. and he'll then sell his mansion and move down to the Med no doubt

  16. If theyll accept a man with a criminal record against children.

  17. He's going down for 10 mins...

Oh, hold on, that was just the Young Starlets

  18. Unfortunately I have to agree with Pete - I reckon he'll walk...
Although I hope they lock him up and throw away the key.

  19. I reckon he'll definitely do time. - Think of the public outcry if he doesn't.

Also, he's been privy to a load of confidential celeb info down the years which he's helped to cover up. Knowing what he knows, said celebs just might have been feeling a little bit of pressure from MC to turn up and act as good character witnesses at the trial. I believe Des o'Connor and Pauline Quirk both put in a good word for the slimebag. Has he got anything on them?

    Hmmm......2+2 = 4 or 5?
