After suffering from numb hands while riding for 25years ,I think it's time I did some thing about it.ive been told to get some palm protectors to cushion the palm at low speed,as all the weight is on the hands.any input would be great fully appreciated
Ive had this for more years than I can remember. Ive never found anything that prevents it. The LH is easy as you can just take your hand off and give it a bit of flex to get the feeling back. The throttle hand is the issue. This is what I use. CRAMPBUSTER CRUISE ASSIST THROTTLE AID SUZUKI GSX 650 F | eBay this allows me to release my grip to get the blood flowing again. On a long trip this thing is a godsend. Additionally i have moved my pegs further forward and higher. This stance helps me take more weight on my thighs. Can hurt me knee and arse but i feel better with a lighter touch on the bars.
maybe you suffer from carpel tunnel syndrome??? i suffered badly with numb hands and needed both hands operating on. sorted it for me, Carpal tunnel syndrome - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Im not sure if they will work, but, I have Alpine Stars GP plus 2 gloves I used on the track. The underpalm of the glove is quite hard ( in case of a slide ) but they would be worth looking at, but I aint sure if they will help your cause. Worth a try...
