A friend just wrote off his bike and himself at Jerez. He will survive but he is not riding again for a while. His misfortune is your gain... This is a full event. 3 days on track > bike transport > 3 nights Hotel > £499 Portimao No Limits will put this in your name and if you feel more comfortable you can contact them directly to buy "Andrew Wettern's" spot. You need to get in before 23rd as on the 24th you have to drop your bike off at Swindon. Get in contact if you want to know more - we've got 3 people so you won't be alone and can share our transport to and from.
First of all sorry to hear about your mate I hope he will be ok, and If I wasn't going to the TT i'd snap this up. I've just been to Almeria with Focused and these Euro events are the absolute dogs whatsits so someone should get in here and buy this !
It was and you can't buy it anywhere at that price because it is sold out. However if you want to make an offer I will be happy to put it to him. @Fastmonkey thanks for your kind words, I will pass them on. He will be in a wheelchair for at least 4 weeks but we are hoping he makes a full recovery
Good to see a bit of a mercenary attitude still survives, the blokes bust himself and his bike up and will be in a wheelchair for a month, so theres a bit of haggling to be had to take advantage of his situation. Got to love the human spirit............
I wasn't going to reply but I will. After spending months myself in a wheelchair due to motorbikes, of course I wish the guy well, who wouldn't. If it seems that I am being mercenary, well I'm not. I was just stating that the full price is being asked for, as the op was suggesting there was a gain to be had. However, it turns out the gain to be had, is that the event is sold out. Which I was unaware of. As for making an offer on the place, I'd love to but I've done all my cash on trying to make it up to the Boss, by buying flowers, choccies and perfume. Having just survived and returned from a NL trip to Valencia. Hopefully, he can recover his financial loss through the travel insurance that NL insist you have. Or that NL can credit him with later td's. If not, I am willing to stump up £50 towards it, if there is 9 other members on here willing to do the same.
It sure is. At the end of the day, if you know what day of the week it is and you have some control over your bowel and bladder, the loss of a few hundred is neither here-nor-there. Being positive and healthy is a sure fired way of a speedy recovery.
Thanks all for the comments. I showed them to the big man in his hospital bed and they cheered him up. Ticket now sold, thanks again.
