Sf Vs S4rs

  1. Has anybody ridden both?

I always wanted an S4RS and still think they look great, just wondered how they compare to the Streetfighter. I always remember the Monster as having loads of grunt, how does it hold up today? Still feel like a modern bike etc?

  2. A Monster should not have a radiator. Then end.

  3. Hmm. I feel the space where the rad goes looks odd on the ones without rads. Much more brutal looking with the rad.

  4. Had an S4RS. I sold it with no regret.
I had an SF1098 for a weekend - it doesn't reward instantly, but it's a great bike that gets better the more you ride it.

  5. I test road one of the first S4RS back in the day and felt it had too much grunt too early in the rev band and I was constantly trying to keep the front wheel down or understeering out of bends. Test road an 848 SF 2 years ago and loved it to bits, smooth power delivery, great handling and if I hadn't just bought a Multistrada 1200s, I'd be riding one today. Unfortunately I also fell in love with a 2001 748R that was a lot more affordable which is why it's in my garage now. Andy

  6. My streetfighter has arrows in it and no chip, runs like a dream, sounds fantastic, the end cans are really well made, and half the price of termis.

  7. Had a S4r then a 848SF - SF is a lot more fun ;).
