Was just reading on why my bike cough on starting and riding occasionally, and someone put "sneezes" and that is exactly what it does, now and again whilst riding... Any suggestions what causes it?
I'd have a stab on mixture. My old 748 did it on occasions, Alec at Ducati Proteam reset the CO for me and all was good.
My 998 did that all the time when new due to a weak mixture. I got massive backfires through the airbox on slowing down for road junctions in particular. I "solved" mine by fitting Termignoni's which came with a better ECU, I then fitted a powercommander which didn't make a lot of difference.
