848 1098 1198 Power Commander 3 USB

  1. Used Power Commander 3 USB to fit Ducati 848, 1098 and 1198 (I believe, please check with Dynojet to confirm). Part number is 710-410 but the stickers reads “for 711-410” Unit is a bit scratched but it is all there. I think the TPS wire has a new connector on it, so would require you to either source a new tap block or make a bare wire connection. See photos below.

    Running latest Firmware version and currently has a map for 1098 with full race system. I’m happy to put on a different map for the buyer if you’re not particularly tech savvy. Pictures and screens of it hooked up to a Pc below.

  9. This is not a wind up... But I've never used a power commander...
    What are the real world benefits of fitting one to my 848?

  12. That is the real question. From everything I've read, if they are set up properly by a decent dyno team, then yes they do, but I cant speak from personal experience

  14. If done properly a bespoke map will be well worth it. Particularly if you've made changes to exhaust or intake.

  17. I have no idea. If the Injector connectors are the same it may. The only potential issue would be getting any 899 map which will be intended for PC5 onto PC3.

  20. Perhaps. You could see if the PC5 has the same part number as 1198 as the PC3 was no longer made when the Street fighter came out. If the Streetfighter has the same connectors for each injector, then yes.
