  2. Thanks for that, I had a disturbed night with the storms, now I'm going to have nightmares ! Andy

  3. It could be worse I had to wrangle an England vest top off him earlier in chavsports direct

  4. working on my fiat coupe bought it a year ago.
just the air bag left to sort. these things take time.
    deffo no more projects.

  5. I'll refrain from the obvious . Very comfortable but as it is a race boot, very restrictive. Couldn't change gear on the Multistrada 1200s so I need to look at the gear lever set up on the 748R just to make sure. Never seen the double boot set up before but can see the benefits. I'll know better after a day at Brands on the 24th. Andy

I have been polishing Conti exhausts and Marzocchi 35mm top & bottom yokes. The Marzocchi castings are pretty rough and will not easily take a mirror finish, but I've done the best I can with them.

  8. I started with the traditional bacon and egg sarnie, followed by go to the agreed RVP for a check ride (ROSPA) unfortunately the guy i was going to check broke down en route. This freed me up to help SERV Wessex at Segensworth where a helicopter repair factory were having a staff friends and family day with the Hampshire & IOW air ambulance. As we assist HAIOWAA with blood supplies we were invited along to not rattle our tins and raise our profile.

Rode home to get ready for a twenty four hour duty.

    Watching bbq heat up :)

  9. 12 mile run turned into 16 this morning as the marshals sent me the wrong way. All in the name of charity. Well I don't feel very charitable at the moment.
Followed by a 3 hr ride home. Bed is calling!

  19. Great fathers day!

PS4 gift, plus a few nice bottles of beer, 4 hrs on the bike with fairly clear roads, with a good mate, loaded van for my two days at Rockingham and now having a fresh coffee watching BsB on catch up before I set off at 4

  20. Nice mono seat fairing I put on yesterday had a few nasty scratches in it so I thought I would have a go myself at getting them out rather than getting a pro to do it.

Bloody good clean with soapy water, white spirit to make sure there wasn't any oil in there, a few coats of touch up paint built up over a few hours. Dry overnight. Attacked with 2500 grit paper (W&D) and a small block this morning until flush, polish with T Cut colour restorer and a layer of SDoc 100 polish on top.

Couldn't believe the result myself. No sign there was ever anything there. Bloody marvelous.
