I like the way you felt the need to defend the beer, as opposed to the vase containing it. I should point out I'm a fan of unusual beer glasses, my favourite is a Swedish one - very similar to a beer chalice for drinking Trappist abbey beers...
Well this morning I set off from Pennsylvania to drive to Connecticut at 5.20am. Thought I'd be having a two hour meeting, but it lasted 8 hours!! And even more surprisingly I may have another deal set up for next year and i didn't have to give anything away!! And the project size could double on my recommendations But it's not over till the fat lady sings. And talking of fat ladies, I'm now in another casino hotel this time in Connecticut, and this one is ten times the size of the last one I was at in Pennsylvania! But the clientele is slightly more upmarket. Earth, Wind & Fire are playing here tonight, so I may go to see them if I can stay awake. Avincii is playing here tomorrow night!
My wife and I walked through a big casino in Wendover last week (Montego Bay Nevada) having partaken of their good value lunch menu - I don't gamble in casinos. As we threaded our way through the machines, my wife pointed out a fat lady sat in a wheelchair holding an oxygen cylinder in front of a bandit. As I passed her, she asked me for money !
222 miles from Salisbury to Pembroke, stopping at Aust, Brecon, Trapp, Pendine Sands. Great roads, mostly just a shame about the dug up surface in apparently random areas before lunch at Trapp and the confusing waypoint at Carmarthen
not as tired today so gonna try again, only went out yesterday because i thought i had too and it was bollox. dunoon road i think.
Hans..... Hans.... HANS!.... . Mr Blix , sir...... I think we've found what you were looking for......!
Nothing but a bacon sarnie and WSBK. Back to work with a bang tm, 0530 start and last meeting 1730 3 1/2hrs from home.
Fantastic weather here so early ride out by myself at 7.30 am breakfast outside in the sun reading the paper at Costa in Abingdon, very pleasant and not many people around that early. Then on to school fete, now settling down with a couple of beers watching South Korea vs Algeria with our youngest. Off tomorrow so a bit demob happy!
what a difference a day makes, saturday i was ready for selling the 848, Sunday different ride altogether. ballacholish- inverrary -dunoon -largs- kilmalcolm-greenock-dunoon-duror superb. note to self don't ride when feck'd sitting out side sheilas dinner on a fast bend just out side dunoon. when i hear this racket from miles away, so i sit patiently waiting for some young loon to ride past on his X.R or D.R and low and behold it's a yellow ducati single sitting on somebody's bumper preping for the overtake. it looked mint. sounded good fading in to the mountains. v.nice.
Oh dear. I've started a second barrel. Well, there were still so many cherries that i can reach with a long ladder. I sort of felt compelled to. I'm going to regret this.
