MOT was due to be done Saturday. However, with the weather so nice, I called up and got it booked in for this morning. Just over 1100 miles done since the last MOT. I think thats pretty poor! Even less than the 1400 miles for the previous year, when I promised to do more miles! No issues, so took advantage of the weather and went for a ride. Down towards Maidstone from testing center in Dartford, back up to the Oakdene and then home. So this years milage starts with a cracking 70 miles!
ive got no fillings AND no Mot so its all good..done about 300 miles in 4 yrs too...the joys of british weather and motorcycle ownership.
After reading your post, I checked my mileage after this years MOT, only 1009 miles in a year. that's pathetic. what did you think of the new MOT certificate? lapman
My MOT tester thought he had better not put it on the cert. it was 57,000 last year ....this year 83,000 he thought maybe the speedo was malfunctioning....who rides that far on a Ducati he thought. Multistrada....I love riding mine the bike before mine had done 3 miles( Harley Davidson)....now that should be a crime
Mine passed last Wednesday - the new certificates look home-made to be honest so I can't say I'm a fan. However Mike at MD Racing told me the new style ones save the government £11 million a year in paper. I've done around 8,000 this year, which surprised me, I thought I'd have done more.
