I`ve just got home. Can`t think of a better way to spend a couple of hours of an evening. My mate was gutted it wasn`t a rotary Norton but the Ducati and the MV more than made up for it.
spotted the norton was a fake damn shame not sure if it was a guy from skeggy that built it think it was in classic motorcycle mechanics or practical sportsbike got a few pics to upload spotted a nice ss parked up anybody here oh and a multi nice to see derek chatterton still doing the rounds used to be in his bike shop all the time when i was younger still know one of his old mechanics have to admit the old 2 strokes did it for me ahh the smell of castrol R cracking kwack triple sounded spine tingling
Nice pictures. My camera announced low battery and switched itself off the minute I took it out the case, wretched thing. I love to see and hear all the old bikes out on track, glorious. I heard the commentator mention years ago there was actually a barn at Barn Corner. Well, it`s true, here`s a couple of picture of my Grandad racing sidecars in the 50`s & 60`s, taken at that corner. On the way home I saw a 900ss parked at the side of the road, (not the one in the pic) I stopped and the guy said the clutch had packed up. Between us we found the problem, I noticed the low clutch fluid level, he found the leak on the slave cylinder. He said he was close to home and would be ok so we had a quick chat and I left him to it.
