Hi I have an ST4s which is approaching the 40,000m and in good condition for its age. Bike is generally sound but I have been let down in turn by faulty coil, faulty crank sensor, and faulty engine relay recently. I take this as a sign to move on. I am therefore considering selling it and breaking it as it is not worth much as a whole, but parts on the ST4s are quite tasty. - Ally Swingarm which I would think fits ST4, maybe ST2 - 5 spoke wheels - standard exhaust system - super clean carbon pipes - Ohlins shock - TiNi coated forks - 999 4 pad calipers and master cyl - Pannier set - Full fairing in mat grey - Gel seat - 996 engine with recessed heads I am working out prices at the moment. Im sure I changed the swinging arm on my ST4 for an ally one off an ST4s, but it was a very long time ago. GLWs
They were but no longer on bike - sold some time back. I still have the PFM calipers and a set of discs though - discs are not in best condition but cast iron always goes a bit rusty when not used. Bloody great breaking though.
Right guys, I have taken delivery of a BMW 800 now to be my new work horse. This makes me realise even more how good the ST4s actually is and what a shame it is to break it, but so it is I have to move on with it. Only issue is one output shaft is getting slightly damaged by sprocket retention plate. Also suitbable for 851 /888 I believe.
