Hi Guys Have finally got round to fitting Ben's De Cat + Termi Stubi to my 2012 1200 PP. Would like the bike remapped........but given the distance to CJS from Manchester + full day waiting on dyno runs/remapping - is there anyone close to Manchester who can do the same remapping work to the bike. Thanks in advance.
To my knowledge there is no one remapping these in an identical way to what we do. We do not use a commercial software. The commercial softwares that the majority of dealers or tuners purchase have big time limits and only allow adjustment of what the initial programmer of the software allows. And seeing as programmers are not tuners ( hence the limits) . we need more than this and this is the reason we do not use commercial products and had to develop our own. If you don't want to travel to Bristol Cornerspeed is 1 hour and fifty mins away from Manchester . ask Neil he may liaze with me in this one if you book a day on his Dyno. I have already made maps for bens decat also
Hi CJS - Neil's on holidays and booked up for sometime. Did i read somewhere that i can post you down the ecu to tweak? I realise its not quite as good as on the dyno, and bike specific tuning - whats your thoughts?
No as I understand it he has stopped making them, which is really disappointing as the quality of his work is excellent, I know as I still have one that I haven't got around to fitting! I've got a new (2014) 15 plate PP, which I don't feel positive about fitting this set-up to due to possible warranty issues, so if you might be interested let me know.
