899 Radiator Cover

  1. Evening
I've been advised that I should get a rad cover. After a closer look the radiator it's bloody close to the floor.
Has anyone got any recommendations and photos. I don't want to ruin the look of the bike.

  2. I fitted the Evotech one to my 1199s, easy to fit and looks good as well.
Just got the lower cover only.

  3. Yep, Evotech is top gear - got top and bottom for my 1199.

  4. Have the evo tech but it's starting to look a tad battered after 2000 dry miles which I'm
    Disappointed about.

  5. I have to keep touching my evotec guard on the SF - the black wears off with stone chips but it's doing it's job !

  6. Cheers gents. Think I might have to go for a evotech.

  7. What are you using to touch it up with?

  8. r and g got 2 guards absolute doddle to fit 5 mins, and for looks a rad guards a rad guard you cant see em,

  9. BBQ paint :)

Might take it off over the winter and do it again but it will prob just chip off again

It's done 17k so not too worried

  10. another vote for evotech here

  11. Made my own. Powder coated as per the ones on my 1098. Withstood pretty much everything that was thrown at it over 5 years. Current ones cover both front and rear of each radiator:

Look at "custom fabrications" for more info.
