Hi.. On my 2 valve I've just fitted new valve seals successfully .. I guess it's another case of once you have fitted a few things become somewhat easier.. I'm struggling to fit the valve retainers or collets.. I've got the valve clamped with plastic forceps in the closed position, placed the closing shim in place and have the closing rocker fully depressed, but still cannot find a way of getting the retainers in the grove... 2 hrs later, time to ask for help.. Old shims at present, but very clean and new retainers.. Thank you
Noods Does this help. May be blob of invisible grease might also help hold them in position. I presume they keep falling out of position. Cheers Gaz
Ha... Thanks Gaz.. I've watched this several times over already... For some strange reason (obviously me ) I can't get them into the groove on the valve, something's wrong!
