  1. Anyone know the closest dealer or specialist to Moffat (or east of Moffat as that's where we are heading today). I'd like to get a new oil pressure switch for a 996S as mine is weaping and I'd like to change it today if poss.

  2. might be the same as fitted to a fiat if you can get a part no. D.G shut on a monday.

  3. Cool will look that up. Ta

  4. Ian Murray shut on Monday :-(

  5. Remembered just after posting. Failing that: Moffatt to Selkirk to Hawick down the A68 until it reaches the A69 near Hexham. Turn east on the A69 and that takes you straight into M&S Newcastle. If you go to Newcastle don't go down the A696 as it's all built up.

  6. could you blank it of till you get home? done that repair a few times.

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  7. I googled Ducati 996 oil pressure switch fiat - loads of info, Vauxhall Aguila and Corsa ones fit with a very slight difference in operating pressure. There maybe more options, I only looked at one link. £3.50 to £7.00 evidently from what I read.

  8. If it really can't wait and you need a vauxhall dealer then there's one in West Calder. Moffat to West Calder is another really good run if you go via Carnwath. Follow the A701 until it reaches the A721 (signposted to Carnwath turning north west(ish)).

Then follow the A721 until you reach Carnwarth. Then at Carnwath turn east onto the A70 following (signposted for Edinburgh / Livingston) until you reach a signpost / junction for West Calder / Livingston (the B7008 or some'at). I guess this junction is about about 10 miles from Carnwath along the A70 and you turn off to your left heading North West(ish) again.

This road then takes you straight to the vauxhall dealer (woods I think it's called).

  9. J&L motorcycles have been good for me-official Ducati and Kawasaki on English Dam side by Station

  10. It seems to be happier today as we are stopping more and it's colder. One put aside for me in Preston with DMC. Thanks all....at least I know not to have a ducati problem in Scotland on a Monday ;-)

  11. Take a guess.....cheaper or more expensive in a few days time?

  12. better.;)
