Had the bike three weeks and 1800 miles and love it but it does cut out when you pull the clutch in to go down a gear now and again (once a day usually), restarts straight away then runs fine. Getting a Leo vince decat and booked in with Chris at CJS in two weeks time, which should solve the issue as far as I know ! But is there anything I can do in the meantime as it's annoying and the dealer I bought it from have looked at it and informed me there's nothing wrong with it and it's probably my fault and I should blip the throttle and not change down more than one gear at a time !? Useless advice Thanks in advance
What model is it? I had the 1100 ds years ago brand new as a hire bike and that used to do the same thing, I'd regularly have to re start it by just dropping the clutch after the engine stopped. I always thought it was a common problem on the DS.
There are other threads. a few do it though not as regular as yours, mine has a few times, but only a few over my 5k miles always when rolling, slowing down and then pulling the clutch in.
Ok will just take it as a Ducati character thing and hope the decat and remap decrease the frequency of the cut outs
Gave the front air bleed valve 1/4 of a turn out and have had no more issues in the last 400 miles just incase anyone has the same issue
