916 Dynojet Pc3 Map Donation

  1. Hey folks, just wondering if someone could send me a map for the above, termi slips and foam filter etc..

I have it in my mind that a close map would save some hastles down at the dyno "zero map up sounds expensive lol"
I'm sure some on here are running pc3, the files are quite easily lifted from the unit..
    Cheers

  2. I have a pc3 on my 916. Full 50mm system, BNC filters etc and it was mapped on a dyno. Alas I do not own a PC laptop. I run macs thus getting the map extracted would be difficult. But this thread could be useful for people to post theirs as a kind of repository.

  3. Indeed,, where abouts are you located?

  4. DeanF had his 749 PC3 setup for £80 with custom map on a dyno at a local place to him (termi's, etc), so for a similar price I'm sure yours could be set up locally to you. Don't surmise how much it's gonna cost just ring your local dyno place up and get a price, you might be surprised! His pulled like a train after he said (there's a vid on here somewhere).

Mine was gonna go on today for its setup (mine is standard) but the dyno guy is off sick so had to cancel. My PC3 has zero map on at the moment and is costing exactly the same price for a custom map.

  5. I'm in caterham. I might have it stored on my desktop pc somewhere, along with others i found years ago. I'll search my pc at the weekend.

  6. Anything other than a custom setup is just guesswork and you may as well just use a zero map, that said you can download various maps from the DJ website.

You can also alter the fuelling yourself very easily, trouble is unless you have it on the dyno with a sniffer up it's 'arris you don't know whether you're making it better or worse...

  7. Custom map on individual cylinders is the only way to go. Anything else is a waste of money in buying and using a PCIII

  8. You may well be correct there, however dj do publish generic maps for differnt models..
Bootsam if you do find those files send them over, I'll take a couple screen shots agains what I end up with after seeing my tame dyno man, could be interesting to see the differences
