  1. Hi,
Does anyone know what the dimensions are for these, I'm trying to determine if the 1098 has a larger mounting diameter?

    thanks

  2. I can measure some discs tomorrow.

  3. Thanks FE, that would be useful. Still trying to look at options for my BST's, spoke with Eng Sol (Bexley), but they think the only option is to rebuild the axle with a custom plate, which may be well beyond budget :(
If the rotor mounting holes had the same PCD, it may be possible to use the mounting tabs for the locating pins, but as my bike is away for 15k service, I can't measure anything.

  4. Iirc the 1098 disc is same pcd as the pins. As the disc bolts screw into the 1098 pins

  5. yep, the locating pins use the same mount as the disc. Its different on the 848/M1100 however, as the disc mounts onto tabs. If the PCD for the disc on an 848 is the same as a 1098, I could look at moving my pins to use the tabs to mount, as per 1098. I've got a 1098 rear end here, but its the 848 or M1100 dimensions I really need to see if they match the 1098.

  6. I've got a 1098sf and another unknown disc. the sf one has longer mounting Tangs than the other. I think the pcd is the same. Both have the speedo pips. so could be an 848 one.

I will look in the afternoon.

  7. 848 disc PCD 125mm OD 245mm

The 1098 disc is definitely different.

  8. thanks guys, it does appear the PCD is completely different on both plates.
