  7. Popped into Tesco. The woman there did know anything about the film but went out back and they could not see any trace of the film.

As I was approaching the tills though she came runnning over as they had found one copy of it.....

  10. I downloaded it via the BBC server using Get Iplayer which means it doesn't get deleted unlike using Iplayer to download it and watched it yesterday, a few archive clips I have never seen before made it more interesting. I got mine in HD which was a bonus, good quality.

You can download the Get_iplayer from the link below if anyone is interested, I just checked and it's still available for download from the BBC server.

  17. It is and while I can see their dedication to what they do its the women in the families that I felt for.....I think once they'd won x amount of trophies there should have been a point where they stopped as they'd "proved their point" by cementing themselves as the (or one of the) greatest road racers. But, that's where I think I personally don't and couldn't understand their drive to keep going. Only they know that themselves. Theyre pretty emotional lads as they are but I thought it was very brave to lay their thoughts bare on screen.

  18. ^^^^ I have two copies that I made using a video photo editor, they are therefore in 4/3 format but will play on a PC or a TV DVD player. On a TV they appear square and in the centre of the screen. It's not minute by any means but you do miss out slightly on the widescreen presentation. They fill the whole screen on a PC.

If anyone watches Youtube via a Roku box then they look like that on the screen to give you an idea.

If anyone would like a copy just PM me and I will send it to you free of charge, as I would rather someone had them and enjoyed them than let them sit gathering dust. It was only an experiment to try before committing the widescreen version to disk.

I also have the BBC download so if anyone wants a copy of the widescreen original in HD I am happy to do one for the price of the DVD, the sleeve and postage ( A couple\few quid I guess?), I am not out to make a profit but do want to cover my costs.

  19. because they had no other income. The mortgage has to be paid. The 'it will never happen to me' attitude is prevalent in all racers. This is why Ryan Farquar stopped for a year after losing his uncle. Doesn't matter how good you are, just look at DJ. Knew the TT like the back of his hand, but hit some fluid on the track and that was that
