Maybe of use to someone so thought would post on here They have 3 to sell. Have seen them list same offer few months ago. Dymag CA5 Carbon Fibre Wheel - Front - C-Grade - R1, CBR, GSXR, ZX-10, 1198 | eBay
i bought one last time they listed them....cant even find a fault on it tbh. Might be that the joins in the c/f are just more visible but a complete bargain i paid direct to them and it was £420 delivered too...
Yer, Best to deal direct because can discount the ebay and paypal fees from the start price to start with
Bloody good idea...'question' sent Seems many want £200 for a used gixer front wheel so a new carbon one for twice that is a bargain
I'll take a front only, it is out of budget anyway...and front is where I'll get most bemefot...and I do hav 3 rear alteady! Lol
That's the sort of heavily rounded maths I use when explaining my purchases to my wife.... Since when is "twice" £200 equal to £480???
I did the same, when they last listed same deal on ebay, only offer I got was to buy a new rear at full price and the cheaper front. Still saves a chunk of money thought compared to buying a mint pair of new ones. New Pair from HPS is £1650 + vat (£1980). YET There £1870 + Vat (£2244) from Dymag??? New Rear from Dymag is £1050 + vat (£1260)
Oh if only I had the money. Then i'd wait for the same useless fool to make some rears and have a bargain set of carbon rims
I just bought the front wheel to go with my GSXR K6 600 forks that are currently on my 900ss but will go to my 2V Superbike project. At £480 they seem "cheap" relative to anything else out there.... including 2nd Hand wheels! Can't wait!! Now i just need to work out the rear end and if i can add a modified 999 swing arm to my 1098 frame....... looking to find out which setup is lightest and can be modified to use a direct shock set up like the 900ss..... but i better post that question on the projects page!
BTW when i spoke to Mike at Dymag, he said rear wheels rarely come up as Grade C, but would cost closer to £600..... unfortunately that is far too much for my now depleted budget :-(
Did you not just message them and pay £420 direct like I did?? £480 is cheap but £420 is miles better lol, would have helped with that depleted budget
