I sent them the link to the thread! So I didn't quite pay the full £480 but £420 wasn't possible as a total price..... Except without vat, postage and other bits. Still I'm pretty happy as it seems a bargain!
They still have 3 for sale? How many have they got and why don't they mess up with the back ones so much...:Meh:
Not sure why the rears are rare, does seem strange though.... And I'm thinking they are not super sharp on eBay. The first chap I spoke to, though helpful, didn't know the wheels where on eBay!
They were a little slow with the process on the last batch too but I've checked and I paid £420 and £12 delivery I just said that eBay and PayPal fees were gonna be x amount and I'd pay that and they agreed
Ahh cool i didn't pay too much more so everyone's a winner And i just need to sort out a light weight rear end now.... as per the question on swingarm options on the 848 group, if anyone has thoughts on a good way forward, t'would be great to hear!!
If they make them for you on ordering as the description says, do they just make them with defects or get the yts to do them?
for a particular size of wheel, they are all the same rim, spokes and carbon centre. What makes wheels specific is the hub that is bonded into the wheel. So they have a batch of wheels sitting there waiting to have hubs bonded in. And if you order a wheel for a particular bike and then later change bikes, it will "only" cost you £350 to have the old hub removed and a new one bonded in place!
OMG.... the b'stards!! they sent me an empty box :-/ oh wait?!? there's a wheel inside ....... f*ck me its light thank you Dymag and thank you imbloodyskintagain for the heads up!!
i couldn't afford it either..... nor the DP cams and ECU i got from pro twins..... i need to start building this and quickly finish it before i spend all my money!!!
