  1. They ain't steel!

  2. They are £1650 a set on the Dymag Web site, what did you pay?

  3. plus vat?

  4. It say RRP - doesn't mention VAT

I thought it had to be clear on web sites if vat wasn't added, or at least say +vat?

    It does sound cheap mind...

  5. check out the UK supplier, HPS, its a shade under 2k...so plus vat ;)

  6. This is a Robert Dunlop type test...

  7. You would think it would be a little clearer - I finally found it in the small print terms and conditions but it took ages to find and I was specifically looking... Poo, mind you - still too much for my project - but a pair of seconds I might just stretch to

  8. £1050 inc vat, told you I dropped lucky :)
The seconds can be 99.99% perfect. Mine has a 3mm square resin black patch where one piece of carbon weave would be. I can hardly find it and I know where it is!
The other wheel is the same.
Dymag sometimes put these front wheels up on ebay for £600 and it was just my luck that a rear, which was due to go to a customer in Japan who has many wheels from them, was turned down because of the 3mm square. The rears almost never come up like this.
A bit of a chat and a deal was struck.

I believe the're a bit rare as the small hub bikes were never fitted with them and only available as a DP item...:pompus:

  15. Balls! Posted in wrong tread...:Bag:

  16. Nice wheels, there swingarms are pretty good also. These wheels are one of the most noticeable mods on my bike along with lightweight fuel tank.

If anyone is ever tempted to buy a used Dymag rear carbon wheel for single sided swingarm on forums or fleabay make sure that its the new design as pictured.
