  1. well mille (the springer ) had to go last night for the weekend so we can head for silverstone ........christ its like losing an arm , i think im pining more than her !!!!!....hope she'll be ok .......I WANT MY DOG BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Man up will you :-D

  3. I used to keep Springers as gun dogs, even ran one in the England team at the Game fair in 1986...Flight was his name.....fantastic little dogs, and very clever little sods too ! I just dont have them now because I'm away too many weekends with BSB, otherwise I'd have one like a shot.......

  4. We get someone to come in and house sit our 3 Huskamutes when we go away, it's easier for the dogs as they stay in their home environment and it means the house is looked after too! Mind you ours are known to be couch potatoes too so don't need too much excercise, just open the back door and let them charge round the garden for 5 minutes and they're knackered!

  5. 'Gun dog', 'shot' I see what you did there Nog.....

  6. Yes indeed I know how you feel.We have two Jack Russels and generally bring them with us wherever possible. But leaving them in kennels is as traumatic for us as it is for them.:frown:

    Chance to post pics:smile:

  9. What is it with Jack Russell's and window sills - ours would live in our window if we let her!

  10. Couldn't agree more with getting someone to house sit - dogs seem so much happier staying at home. There's a website which puts potential house sitters in touch with home owners but I can't remember what its called! Our dogs are lucky enough to get looked after by family :upyeah:

  11. My dog used to sit by the window waiting for me to come home ...there was also a big hole in the curtain we gave up on as she was guardian of the letterbox ! All I can say now is she'd be having a mental fit with all the ruddy kebab leaflets I get through!
