Non Ducati - wtb KTM supermoto

  1. Now the race bike is sold (well cash on collection tomorrow) looking to replace with something fun for the winter and decided on a KTM 640 supermoto

Few around on ebay, biketrader etc...but thought I'd ask :upyeah:

Ideally the right side of 2k but depends on age, condition etc etc. but buying to ride all weather so cosmetically not great but mechaniically ace welcome at the right price.

Would consider a 625 too....the electric & kick start model

  2. Damn good choice :upyeah:

  3. Had one and loved it loved it loved it. Mine had full ti Akra, open airbox and rejetted to suit. Cant remeber what gearing it was but it would stick with anything to around 70 mph and maxed out at about 110. Just a riot to ride

The 625 is the one to go for as its a touch lighter and has a fancier carb. Never had an ounce of trouble did a few big ride outs and a goodb few trackdays. Really easy to work o and KTM parts are pretty cheap and even if they have to come from Austria it takes no longer than 7 days

  4. It will help thst I have a KTM dealer 2 minutes away. The 625 is a little less compromising they say....but I guess everything is relative! Lol
