Hi All .. Unfortunately I've had a slight mishap .. My dissembled 3000 mile only Ducati Hypermotard 796 wet standard slipper clutch was on the workshop floor when I decided to drop a roll of lead onto the top friction plate.. It's snapped it one place.. Luckily didn't hit any other parts.. Phoned Ducati stores and all want me to buy a full kit and can't supply just one plate.. Anyone know where I might get one.. Also I've looked on e bay etc.. Thank you ..
Ahh what a nice guy.. I will post a picture of the plate in the morning to see if it's alike.. But thanks N@@DS
If that clutch is no good, I KNOW I've seen single plates for sale so let me know and i can have a search for where I've seen them. Unless someone knows off the top of their head.
Right, well I've found one place, Ducabike, but the site isn't what i remember so will look harder. You can always try Rich at Louigi Moto explaining your problem. I got a whole 748 clutch inner basket posted to me for the cost of some money in the coffee jar next time i popped down. He's very helpful.
