  1. Hi guys

What tyre pressure you running for normal road ridding, no pillion.

    Haynes says:
    F:32
    R:36

I'm 80kg without my bike kit on if it makes a difference.

    Cheers.

  2. Most on here seem to use low pressures.Perhaps I dont go fast enough?

  3. @Keith, what do you run at?

  4. Only if you fall off...

    32/34

  5. So many variable. Make, profile, time of year

30/34 summer 32/36-38 winter on a sports bike, run a few higher on multi

  6. I run 33/34 front and 38 rear. Suits me. Any lower and I lose feedback.

  7. Always run my bikes FRONT 30 - 31 PSI , REAR 35 - 36 PSI for solo .

  8. Christ, you lot are all over the place. Think this calls for some serious miles this spring all in the name of research.

  9. Ive tried lower pressures but it felt vague to me.s i said before, perhaps I dont ride hard enough to get them back up.

  10. I go with these when carrying a pillion ...

  11. I go around 32 / 34 then down to about 20ish, then pump em up again :)

  12. 32-34 for me that felt the best for my style of riding
Took a pillion on the same

  13. I did that once it felt like I was riding on a flat tyre and going round bends was awful
Taught me to check tyre pressures every ride

  14. Erm, dunno. I can feel the difference if either get below about 28 or above 38-40psi. Anywhere in between and I'm good with it.

  15. I think they should be quite hard mate,, not very soft..

  16. SSSDDDFFFRS
Perhaps I weigh the same as you plus pillion.:(

  17. I doubt this !!! lol ...

  18. Hi guys, bumping the thread.

I'm hating my tyres, very slow to warm up and can't keep a tight line round roundabouts, so been doing some reading.

    Found this article:
Tire Pressure-Not a Lot of Hot Air | Sport Rider

Where it says different tyres require different PSI. And Pirelli is one of these.

    So, went to:
DIABLO ROSSO CORSA , Motorcycle Tyres - PIRELLI UK
And it says I should be on 2.5F and 2.9R Bar on the nearest model bike/tyre combination I can find to mine. This works out as 36F 42R PSI, which seem high.

I'm going to contact them with the exact model of bike/tyre I have and see what they recommend.

    Any thoughts on this guys?
