Tapatalk

  1. I'm thinking of removing Tapatalk.

    It's vulnerable to exploits, it sends a lot of spammer registrations and the GUI revisions seem to be a mess at the moment.

    Can tapatalk users try browsing the web based forum and let me know what you will miss? Personally I prefer the responsive mobile site over tapatalk.

  2. I wouldn't miss it. Since it's latest redesign Tapatalk is harder to navigate than the mobile site. It seems a bit quicker to load a thread but other than that it's of no major benefit.

  3. bit of a shame I'm used to the new version now but if you have to :Arghh::(:Dead:


    its 'ok' on the web based on iphone but not as good, deffo slower over 3G

  4. Mobile version of forum is ok
    But... Tapatalk it's just simpler somehow
    I use both but always come back to tapatalk
    I didn't upgrade so I'm still on the better version

  10. It's rubbish, tried it for a week, then gave up and deleted it. Somehow it reinstalled itself a few days ago so had to delete it again! Kill it :upyeah:

  13. Loved the simplicity of the old version but have deleted it and gone back to the mobile web version 'cos I can get straight to my forum Unreads without faffing around, and the layout is far better

    I find the tapatalk one easier
    Bit like self scan the more on the screen the less you see
    Less is more
